In November every year, our group also leads the coordination of our annual Peace Day, when students and teachers from more than 30 schools come to hear the Sydney Peace Prize winner speak about peace with justice.

Celebrating Unity in Diversity
Peace Link
This year we have made the Victorian bushfire fundraiser our main priority. We will also making a care package for our local hospitals which will contain basic needs most emergency unit patients don’t have. We will also be helping out in local nursing homes which might involve something as simple as being company for and developing a positive relationship with an elderly person. Within the school we help newly arrived immigrant and refugee students to improve their English by giving up our lunch time to do paired reading.
Successes
We measure the success from our projects by gaining feedback from the cause we are funding. The more obvious way of measuring our success is the satisfaction that we achieve when we try our best for good cause.

i would just like to say that this garden has brought our school together as one. our school is made up of so many different ethnic backgrounds and its so cool because we respect each other and we bring peace to our community. The peace garden was made to symbolise togetherness: peace. =] To me, the peace garden is such a cool thing. just looking at it makes me smile. =] it makes me determined to bring the word peace to further communities.
