“Peace Connections” Video ConferencesThanks to Merrylands High School and Abbotsleigh Girls High School for hosting the first 2 Peace Connections video conferences in 2009!
Following the success of these events, YPI will again be coordinating regular video conferences in 2010, in cooperation with NSW DET’s Distance and Rural Technology Program, bringing together students from public, Catholic, and private secondary schools from around NSW.

This year YPI is partnering with Sydney University’s Centre for Peace & Conflict Studies (CPACS) to run a youth mentoring program for schools wanting to strengthen their student-led activities in conflict resolution, social justice, anti-racism, anti-bullying, community service, and/or peer mediation.
